Welcome to VectroTunnel
First Time Users Read This
If this is your first time accessing our members area fear not, keep reading to learn how our service works and what you will need to do. To use our service, you will need at least 2 things:
1) A SSH program (such as PuTTY) to open the secure tunnel.
2) A SOCKS compatible web browser (such as Firefox) which browses through the tunnel.
If you have never used anything like this before, below are instructions on opening the tunnel and connecting your browser to it. You will also find out other software you can use and where you can download it. All of the programs are free for download.
Important Things to Know
1) The tunnel has to be opened FIRST, then it has to stay open while your web browser is accessing it.
2) Your browser (or other Internet program) has to be configured specially to connect through the tunnel.
3) The Internet programs you use have to be SOCKS compatible to work.
4) You must log out of the tunnel once you are finished using it. You must also log back in when you need to use it again.
